Planning out 2015

Planning out 2015

There is something about making goals, setting goals, writing them down, and looking at them every day.  I’m not sure if others are driven by a goal but for me personally it pushes me on the day I don’t feel like it, the times it would be easy to give up.

I have to share what my goals looked like for 2014

Here is what I learned in the last year I’m still as excited about sharing this opportunity with others whether it’s by helping someone reach their fitness goals or create more financial freedom.  Over the holiday weekend my Diamond coach and also sister sat down and made a few YouTube videos sharing more in detail what a coach does?  Who coaching is right for?  And how this opportunity can change the direction of your future, she spoke about starting out 9 months ago and how being a beachbody coach has allowed her to replace her income of working 30 plus hours out of the home every week.  And since that point I’ve been really thinking about goals for 2015 and what they should be centered around.

2014 my main focus was to help 50 people live a healthier lifestyle my focus is still always to help others live a healthier life but truly making a shift and focusing on helping other woman that feel stuck just like my own sister did.  Having the tension of her working out of the home 30 plus hours a week truly took a toll.

Here is the thing I’m going to be honest I make daily mistakes and for sure don’t have all the answers.  However I’m willing to show up every day and put my focus on failing forward and learning from it, staying committed when things get a little tough.  In the end being successful at coaching is structured around just that.

I’m an introvert and you will never catch me being the center of the party I prefer small group settings and one on one conversations.  I truly started out with 10 people to invite to my first challenge group.  My husband did not support my choice, my kids still don’t sleep well, and we run a tradition business so my days are full however over the past 15 months I’ve created a system that is easily duplicable if you’re willing to step out of your comfort zone.

First goal going into 2015 is to bring 4 women on my team home from their job.  It might be a newly married mom that wants the chance to raise her kids and still needs to create income.  It might be a mom that would like to have baby number 2 but the thought of daycare out weights the chance for her to do so, or the person that works a crazy amount of time but can never seem to get ahead.

Focus beyond helping others is knowing down at my core that this is what God wants me to be doing in 2015.  Looking daily for guidance and willing to see how things unfold.  Just a mom on a mission

There is something about a year coming to an end in 30 days everyone sets out wanting better health and more freedom.  What if you could mix the two together?  I’m not any kinda fitness pro or carry any degrees in nutrition however I’m willing to stay true to who I am and what how life unfolds.

Live each day, week, month, and year carrying out your purpose.

Healthy Buckeyes

Healthy Buckeyes

I know Thanksgiving is over buy come on this time of the year I enjoy being in the kitchen and baking however feeling blah and less energy is not the best combination.  I'm so thankful for finding recipes like this one and applying it to my recipes and sharing it with others.

Healthy Buckeyes

1(14 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained + rinsed
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (may use sweet potato or butternut puree)*
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup creamy peanut butter
Pinch of sea salt
10 ounces dark or semi-sweet chocolate, melted (use vegan chocolate if needed)

Line two cookie sheets with wax paper.
In the bowl of a food processor, add the cannellini beans and puree until mostly smooth. Add the applesauce, pumpkin, coconut oil and vanilla. Puree until completely smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes, scrapping down the sides if needed. Add the peanut butter and salt, process another minute.
Scoop 1/2 tablespoon size amounts of dough out and roll into a rough ball. Place on the prepared cookie sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough, cover the pans and place in the fridge for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, remove the balls from the fridge and roll them once more between your hands to smooth the balls out. Stick a toothpick into the top of each ball. Cover the cookie sheets and place them in the freezer for at least 45 minutes, but not too much longer than an hour.
Just before removing the balls from the freezer melt the chocolate over a double broiler or in the microwave.

Working with one ball at a time, dip the frozen balls into the chocolate leaving a small opening at the top so the peanut butter can peak out. Place the balls back on the cookie sheet. Repeat with the remaining balls. Store in the fridge until ready to eat.

Shakeology recipes

 Shakeology Recipes
One of two things are happening right now either you just purchased shakeology or your joining a challenge group and your committed to drinking shakeology every day for the challenge group.  So what are the health benefits to drinking Shakeology  every day?

Shakeology recipes

What do you receive once you place your order?
Depending on whether you purchase the bag of shakeology or the packets it's still a 30 day supply of the healthiest meal of the day.  I always recommend if it's your first time to purchase to buy it as a mixed box (packets) so your able to sample 3 flavors at once chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.
PLEASE do not put it in a shaker cup and drink for the first time.
PLEASE if you invested in a 30 day supply of shakeology drink it every day for those 30 days or you won't see any benefits drinking it here and there.
PLEASE keep in contact with the group daily and stay engaged in making healthier changes.

Have fun with it there are endless ways to make shakeology and finding your recipe is key and I want to work with you to do so.  Don't forget to hang the recipe calendar that came with your purchase and get creative.   You just invested in your health it's time to have fun and make it taste like a milkshake.

What is Insanity Max 30?

What is Insanity Max 30?

So a little background on myself, I started in a challenge group last May of 2013 and started with a program ChaLean Extreme had an awesome transformation after not being able to lose the baby weight from our second daughter. After that I went on to do T25 and then Insanity last fall at this same time of the year. I know some of you have completed Insanity and some have not let's just say it's hard even as a health coach finding the time to commit to 60 minute workouts in month 2 was hard. I did it and had the best definition I ever had in my abs (after 2 C-sections).   Shawn T is all about working the core and Max 30 will not let you down in that area. If your core is an area you struggle with and you hate doing "traditional" sit ups this will be a win.
What is Insanity Max 30?

So of course I'm thrilled to learn more about this program based on just the fact that the workouts are 30 minutes long 5 days a week (not 6) and the program is 8 weeks long broke down into two sections or blocks however you want to refer to them.
So unlike Insanity for the entire program max30 will have a camera on a  modifier.

What type of training is it?

Tabata training- meaning you start very intense in a move and goes less strong to complete.
First month on you go hard for 20 seconds rest for 10 seconds. Each "set" of moves lasting 4 minutes 30 seconds.
Unlike Insanity you don't have a fit test every two weeks rather each day you try and max out your time.
What does the challenge pack include?
12 workouts
10 DVD's
nutritional guide
(no equipment needed)
30 days of dense nutrition (shakeology)

Month one workouts

-Cardio challenge- It's like a fit test and your maxing out in cardio
-Sweat intervals- all cardio as well and you sweat the entire time
-Tabata power- designed to focus on your core
-Tabata strength- total body building strength
-Friday fight round- Since this is a 5 day program Friday is all out Insane workout for 30 minutes.
Optional in month one for Saturday morning- a workout called pulse designed on improving balance, core, and form

Here is the thing this is not meant to scare you out of doing the program but rather to stretch your mind in what you’re capable of doing. More than likely your mind is the first thing to talk you out of trying something new. Keep in mind you have a modifier. And if your workouts don't give you challenge everyday your body will plateau.

Month 2 workouts

-Max out cardio
-Max out sweat
-Max out power
-Max out strength
-Friday fight round 2

Month two the times go from 4 minutes 30 seconds to 5 minutes 30 seconds.
*Note the goal is to max out and increase your time. However when you max out the program is not over. You take a break and jump back in.

Nutritional guide-

Is focused around portion control with flexibility. How many of you know about the 21 day fix portion control containers? You have the option to use those with this nutritional guide. Portion control is a good thing managing you're eating so your eating more often and keeping your metabolism burning.
That brings me to when you purchase you can buy the base challenge pack or the deluxe kit.

The deluxe kit comes with those great portion control containers

Three extra workouts including max out abs (15 minutes long), 360 abs that works the core all around, along with a top secret workout.

Shawn T really recommends doing the program 5 days straight and taking 2 rest days, your body is going to need it. Unlike Insanity you won't have a recovery week. This will allow your body to fully recover and become stronger for the following week.

Insanity Max 30 reviews

Insanity Max 30 reviews

A few things about myself I never workout from home until a year and a half ago.  I was your typical mom that would start Monday with working out on the treadmill a little running and a little sweat.  After finding the baby weight hard to come off after our second child I knew something had to change so I committed to good nutrition and a beachbody program.  Let's just say over the past 1.5 years I've done most of the programs and I have a few favorite,  Insanity being one of them.  This by far was the program that gave my stomach definition after 2 C-sections however even as a health coach committing to the 60 min. workouts in month two was very hard to stick with.  So introducing Insanity Max 30 is like music to my ears!!

So what is Max 30?  Well it's designed with 150 new moves and created for the customer to still see killer results HOWEVER in 30 minute workouts instead of 60 minutes.  I loved doing insanity and by far the program that I had the best stomach definicine but even being someone that was committed to great fitness the second month was killer with finding the time to workout for 60 minutes with two little ones that refuse to sleep great.  Insert the perfect program for men and woman short on time but want to max out with their fitness MAX30!!

When is it released?

December 2nd

What type of workouts will you be doing for 8 weeks?

Insanity Max 30 reviews

From what I've been told this workout is designed for strength however it's killer.

Insanity Max 30 reviews

Friday Fight is 30 minutes of fighting just to finish your mind will need to be 100% focused just to get through the workout.

Insanity Max 30 reviews

Cardio Challenge will change the way you ever viewed cardio before in your life and a Saturday morning run will feel like a walk in the park with the dog.

Well in true beachbody fashion they want to see customers having results and with comes not only killer workouts but a great nutritional guide plus with the purchase of a challenge pack you will be able to incorporate 30 days of dense nutrition AKA shakeology and in doing so safe a BIG amount on the workout program it's self.  Will there be wiggle room in the guide?  Yes but keep in mind for 8 weeks your all in so to see MAX results the wiggle room will be small.

Motto- if you still look cute at the end of the workout you did not MAX out.

Is this different then T25?
YES here is the answer from someone that is in a coach test group- week 3 "Yes its definitely going to be harder, less choreographed, higher intensity, totally different moves and meant to be advanced. 60 day workout program, and the whole max out idea is what you are going for. Going full tilt until you literally can't go anymore, taking a break and then jumping back in. Goal is to increase your max time with each workout. No weights, all bodyweight!"

Breaks- 15 seconds not 45 seconds like the orginal Insanity

For more details I've created a closed online facebook group to add readers just like yourself that has interest but would like to learn more details as they are released.  This group will be open with information until the program is released and from that I will be offering an exclusive test group for those serious about seeing results.  The chance to wind cash will be on the table by submitting your results as well.

To be added click HERE

The challenge groups I run are FREE to my customers

So it's a win
Killer program
Great nutrition
Chance to win cash

So real quick my question to you are you one of those that owned Insanity in the past and.....

A. Never made it past week 1
B. Month two never happened
C. You finished the program and loved it
D. You always wanted to try but the 60 minute workouts scared you
E. I just need to make changes and need a great program

Let's make this happen we start together and we finish together

Cash For Christmas

Cash For Christmas

What I always knew about myself when I was younger that I wanted to be mom and stay home with the kids. My mom did this for my sisters and I growing up and I never wanted to miss an event, a mile stone, being able to breastfeed, being the mom that takes them to school, and can be present. However I also knew at a very young age I have a drive to be an entrepreneur. Going to college was never in my cards I just wanted to work on building a future that did not look traditional and fit my personality. I tend to hate schedules, hate structure, and enjoy doing things spur of the moment.

I looked at plenty of opportunities from owning water trucks before people even knew what a water truck does, looked at buying a successful local hoggie shop, looked at various restaurants/bars to own, looked at flipping homes, my husband and I owned a successful grease collection business for 3 years and built it from the ground up and sold it two years ago, you can pretty much say I'm open to anything.

However that common thread in most businesses is your time, if I would of bought a restaurant guess what my time would not of been flexible at all. Friday night trick or treating would of been out of the question. There are very few businesses that grow and your time invested does not increase. Also very few businesses you can grow while working full time.  So this time of the year instead of rushing out to find a "part time job for the holidays"  I invite you to join me.

I can take on 5 people, that are committed to following my very simple plan!  I am going to teach you how to focus on the right activities, how to share vs sell, how to use social media, how to be authentic,  genuine and realistic with others and how to earn $500 this holiday season.

It will take you being willing to invite people to a holiday health and fitness accountability group which we will run together.  I will do the majority of the work running the online groups, help and support your customers and earn that commission.  I will teach you what to say, how to say it, how to feel like you are sharing an opportunity to help others vs just selling a product.  It's more about building that trust!  People genuinely see through the person who is just out to make a quick sale.  So we are going to do both with together.  I will show you how to be authentic to yourself and start to share who you are.

What happens after the holidays?
From that focus on social media, branding yourself, how to manage your time, how to be a good leader as your own team starts to grow. and how to create more freedom. That's the crazy cool thing about building a business like this it's a mobile business. Your not tide down on location, overhead, or upfront cost.

Insert beachbody>>>>when I say over the past 14 months I grew this business while the kids sleep it's true. It's been a lot of trail and error willing to fail because let's face it with success comes failing however I just never stopped or slowed up. The thing I also know for sure, there are other women out there just like me. Do you have to have a business background at all no. Actually skills I used as a waitress come in handy. Did I learn a few tricks along the way, YOU BET. The cool thing about leading a team is sharing what works its duplication at hand.

What you need is:
A passion for helping other
A passion for inspiring others
A love for seeing others succeed

I was thinking back on HOW SKEPTICAL I was when I first heard about Beachbody programs... let alone the whole "Coaching Opportunity" and it really made me feel like I need to give the OUTSIDE WORLD a little glimpse IN so that they can decide for themselves if it is FOR THEM or NOT!
With that being said I will be scheduling one on one calls to answer questions like.....
- IS THIS some sort of PYRAMID SCHEME?! (my favorite)
- I am NOT at my goal yet....let alone how could I inspire others
- How do you get paid?
- I am just NOT a salesperson!
- I am introverted and have a small network!

Finally life is so short to live in the I wish I would of stage always be open to any opportunities that swing your way.

Like they always say NOW is the time

With the launch of Insanity Max 30 in December and The 21 Day Fix Extreme in February there are so many opportunities for growth and new business!  You will have a much easier time with success if you start now rather then later.

These 5 spots will fill up quickly so scheduling your time on the phone in the next two days is very important.

Clean Eating Peanut Butter Cookies

Some mom's live for the summer and sitting pool side.
This mom my "season" is the holidays
Family getting together...

Free 6 day clean eating group

Free 6 day clean eating group

I remember that day like it was yesterday the feeling of running to Tractor Supply without my 3 month old for the first time.  I was working my butt off exercising everyday only to see very little progress.  As the cashier asked when I was due I held back the tears and went home to my husband ready to make a change.  Since exercise was not enough I learned the basics of clean eating and combined I was able to loss over 40 lbs. and from that point I decided to pay it forward and help others struggling.  This group is free and last 6 days long all done through a closed Facebook group.

24 week pregnant and working out

24 week pregnant and working out
15 weeks to go!!! It's hard to believe

24 week pregnant and working out

How am I feeling? For the most part good ask me at the beginning of the day and I have lot of energy and "pregnancy brain" has not set in yet. As the day goes on small taste seem way bigger than they are. I think that's one of the hardest parts about being pregnant I like to be active and get things down however I know that a baby is growing inside of me and rest is part of being pregnant. So after dinner it's pretty much chill time with the kids and time to take it easy after going all day.

Of course the morning is still "my jam" my me time!! Pregnant of not I just feel so much better after a good workout. With the third trimester around the corner I'm starting to use the modifier "Kat" on the 21 day fix. Most moves I can still do but might go at a little slower pace. Why the 21 day fix while pregnant? It just works well for beginners but still affective so being that I'm this far along I feel more like a beginner but I still feel like the workouts are affective NO jumping Light weights and easy moves. But trust me my arms and lower half FEEL it the next day!!
24 week pregnant and working out

Eating-Not so bad this week 2 weeks ago I was pretty much eating anything in site (baby must of been growing). I enjoyed some Halloween candy with the kids last week however I was quick to send it to the shop with my husband let's face it if it's here I will be tempted. Do I eat 100% clean while pregnant? No I human but try and follow the 80/20 rule.

Weight gain?

I honestly could not tell you, I go by how I feel. I did increase my water intake for each day as I could tell I was slacking and listened to my body. Zero swelling yet!! Yippee!! Zero stretch marks!! Yippy!! I just take it day by day it's a blessing to be pregnant and I'm thankful for a healthy pregnancy I won't let a number on the scale define how I feel while being pregnant.

When I say this stuff is liquid gold I mean it. It's my personal choice to drink it but after the first few months of drinking it I realized more of the nutritional benefits shakeology has to offer above just something for weight loss. I could not eat enough healthy foods in a day to receive the nutrition I get from one shakeo a day. It also helps with my fibromyalgia and for that I'm very grateful for. The other times I was pregnant that was the first thing that would flare up and taking over the counter medicine every day to keep the inflammation down. Plus I think this entire pregnancy I've had 3 headaches the other pregnancies it was pretty much a headache every day for 9 months. So between clean eating, shakeology, and just being in tuned to my body this by far is the best pregnancy yet. I add in an over the counter folic acid and iron because if I was taking a prenatal vitamin it would be an overload however I need the extra iron and folic acid while pregnant.

24 week pregnant and working out

What does the last 15 months look like?

Steve and I have the best families and they are always willing to help with watching the kids with dr. visits etc. I might schedule in two Pedi's from now until the end as a treat to myself as well. I purchased a few new sleepers but really this baby doesn't need much. Clint and Josie don't really know what to think of a baby coming. Just taking it day by day by trying not to let being uncomfortable from time to time take over the miracle that is happening.

Advice if you’re thinking of becoming pregnant?

9 months when you break it down during pregnancy does seem like forever. I wish I would of known 4 years ago what I know now and share with others about creating a lifestyle not a crash diet. Find what works for you and commit to making time for yourself now and getting your health under control now vs. being pregnant and having extra additional health issues that cause risk for you and your baby. There will never be a perfect time to invest in your health there will always be holidays, birthdays, parties etc. Once that miracle happens all of a sudden it becomes about being healthy not just for you but for your baby.

24 week pregnant and working out

If you’re thinking of becoming pregnant and have questions I would love to help you. If you’re in the middle of your pregnancy I would love to hear from you, each day is not roses and flowers so it's great to talk with other mom's to be.

Three Day Refresh

Three Day Refresh

Ok I hear you load and clean!!  You’re ready to make changes but you’re not ready to add in working out.  Halloween might have not been so friendly to you, the candy took over those house and you’re looking for a reset button but still want to enjoy Grandma’s homemade pies at Thanksgiving.  I got you covered!!  We will go strong with reducing bloating and unwanted pounds the first three days then switch our focus for 30 days to clean eating.   We take Thanksgiving off and jump right back in the next day.  Sound like a deal??
Three Day Refresh
If your someone that workouts out at the gym but would like to tighten up on nutrition this group would be perfect for you.
Three Day Refresh

So what is the 3 day refresh?
I personally started the program this summer and on day two found out I was pregnant. Sad face I had to stop however I can say everything I did for the refresh tasted great.  I will share with you my sisters thoughts on the 3 day refresh.

Three Day Refresh
What is a challenge group?
You'll be added to our VIP Facebook group where only the members of the group can see what is being posted. You'll be expected to check in daily with your workout and nutrition so we can make sure you're staying on track.  We start together and we end together. No one quits. First we’ll work on flushing all those negative thoughts swirling in the back of your mind that are keeping you stuck. If you believe you will succeed, you will. We start the 30 day challenge group with the 3 day refresh, then you replace 1 meal a day with shakeology for the 30 day challenge group to give your body 1 meal that is supercharged with ingredients that will give you natural energy, cravings will be curbed, you will stay full for at least 3 hours and its equivalent to 6 salads in one meal. Then, I am going to teach you how to plan the other meals of the day. I will help you create a customized meal plan, give you recipes, snack ideas, tips, motivation and keep you accountable. Every day I post in the challenge group your daily mind set tip or post. You check in and rate your date and read what is posted. We all keep each other accountable!
Does this sound like something you would like to do?

What is shakeology  There are so many products out there I'm not going to name other "meal replacement" drinks or brands however most are not a true replacement and are filled with artificial sweeteners and artificial flavoring which is only going to leave you hungry and craving more garbage.  I was a breastfeeding mom when I started and even now pregnant I would not to take in something that did not benefit my body.  Being that shakeology is sweetened with a natural plant Stevia it truly does not get much healthier (no not like the chemical found Stevia at Wal-Mart).

Three Day Refresh

Can't wait to be a part of the next 30 days to focusing on the basics of clean eating.

Limited space to save your spot fill out this application Oh and wait to off set the cost of the challenge pack and with the holidays right around the corner I'm offering a $20.00 Wal-Mart gift card to all new first time customers that purchase.
