Shakeology Balls

Shakeology Balls

Shakeology Balls

It's one of those rainy Saturdays with nothing on the calendar my husband is working today and I want something sweet.  Ever been there?  I love these and work well to keep in the freezer in a pinch of needing something sweet but not wanting to go backwards in progress.

Shakeology Balls

Ingredients:

8 tablespoons PB2, (low fat, high protein powdered peanut butter)

3 tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter or almond butter

½ cup Shakeology

3 tablespoons raw honey

½ cup quick oats

Directions:

Mix PB2 with water until it is a paste like consistency. Mix all ingredients, including PB2 mixture together in a mixing bowl. It may take some time to blend all of the ingredients together. If it’s to sticky, sprinkle in additional PB2 so that it’s a pretty dry/crumbly texture.

Next, roll mixture into small individual balls and place on a wax sheet. Makes about 12 balls, 1 oz each. Put them in the freezer until firm.  I like to use these little muffin pans so when you put them in the freezer you don't loss any.

(These taste even better when made with 6 tbsp of PB2 and ½ cup of natural peanut butter, but the calories and fat are higher.

If your someone that has never heard of PB2 you can buy it at most grocery stories its found next to the regular peanut butter and might have an off brand name.  Or you can purchase PB2 from online (fine a site that offers free shipping to keep the cost down).
