PiYo week 2 meal plan
It’s Sunday and it’s that time of the week! What do I mean by that? Well it’s that time to give my body a rest, a
time for my muscles to relax, a time to reflect on the week, a time to think
about what to eat for the next week(meal planning), a time to stop and be
thankful for a healthy family, a time to thank God for a day of rest.
How many times do you spend most days reacting to everything
thrown your way? I know it happens and
trust me I catch myself every now and again putting the brakes on midweek and
reminding myself it’s the little things in life that matter. We live in a world of always dealing with the
“gravel”. What do I mean by that we are
never really productive and moving forward on the things that truly matter in
life rather we focus in nonsense things that truly do not need out
attention. My goal for this week beyond
a meal plan and entering into week 2 of PiYo is to do just that. It’s the 4th of July this week and
my goal is going to be just that put my focus on family, friends,
relationships, and set all the mumbo jumbo aside and truly enjoy these simple
times in life. It’s hard to believe looking
into my little boy’s eyes he will be three in 2 months!! I know as new moms they always say time goes
by so fast enjoy it. Well every night
for the last 3 years trying to put Clint to sleep in less than an hour time
frame seems like time stood still. But
looking at these two pictures all those people were right it goes quick. My baby girl is using the “big girl potty”
the thought of saying good bye to diapers excites me to say the least. It felt like I would be breastfeeding forever
in the moment now it’s kind of a distant time in my life.
So any who!! Back to
week 2 of Piyo even with a holiday I plan on success how I do so. By just that I spend time each Sunday
planning ahead. Now this meal plan has a
few holes for sure due to the holiday I’m not sure if we will sneak out of town
or not. BUT regardless I will head to
the grocery store today and prep for the week just as if it was a normal
week. It’s not enough to just burn
calories healthy bodies are made in the kitchen and go from there.
I’m looking forward to a new workout schedule this week with
PiYo, I can say my hands need to be strengthen in the first week I notice my
wrist being tender this is normal and Chalene explains that within the
workout. Our body needs and wrist in
general need to be exposed to more flexibility and strength training.
If we do end up heading on the road her are my guidelines.
