Coaching from home

Coaching from home

Hey there!!  Welcome to my blog it’s a Sunny Sunday in Pa!!  An odd time as a mother of three to have a home without little ones needing a drink, help in the bathroom, or screaming because one took a toy the other one was playing with.  I paint a picture of what 90% of my life as a mom of three looks like.  I want others to see I’m just like you!!  I started as a coach two years ago just wanting to connect with other mom’s, living in a small town a trip to the park it was odd to see others there.  Fast forward to now and I'm sitting on the patio connecting with woman from all over the United States from the comfort of our home, give me WIFI and I can work!!

Coaching from home

Two years ago I was not at my goal weight!!  I was in the middle of changing how I was eating and learning more about clean eating.  It started with as a coach that wanted  to inspire my family and let’s face it coaching becomes the ultimate accountability!!

Coaching from home

Sunday’s I know for a lot of woman can be hard, it’s time their rushing around the house in order to be out of the home 40 plus hours a week knowing their income might slowly go up at some point in time.  OR to the stay at home mom just wanting a way to earn income without having to put the kids in daycare to be able to work and provide for the family.  It's been such a blessing to show other coaches this is a real business and can truly work with their lifestyle.

Coaching from home

My coaching business is just like any business I was just running a few reports and checking where I was last July to where I am this past July and noticed my income grew 500%!!  My business mind was blown away!!  I mean I still work this business the same amount of time 20 hours a week!!  In a traditional business in order to grow your business 500% more than likely it means bigger risk, more hours, more headaches and more time invested.  Recently Bill Gates was asked if he had to do it all over again what would he change?  He would be involved in a network marketing business.

Coaching from home

Yes income is a small part of why I wanted to build this business the other part is what truly takes place off of social media and the impact you can have on someone’s life.

 Building confidence

Saying good bye to medicine for high blood pressure

Kicking lifelong habits that could age a person

Going after a position at work

Looking their best after having kids!

So what does it take?

Well here is the thing many start few stick with it!!  You need the ability to see where you want to be well let’s keep it simple you need to be a dreamer!!  But dreaming isn’t enough to be a successful coach you must be willing to work and apply the training that is offered.  Yes I might be a coach that is signed up with one of the top coaches in the network but that means nothing if I wasn’t willing to work towards those dreams.  Being teachable is key it’s totally normal to not have a clue where to start but willing to learn!  Willing to step out of your comfort zone and understand those small choices made every day will add up to something amazing over time.  Willing to treat this business like you invest 100,000 not 40 bucks.  And that pretty much sums it up!!  I will be mentoring 5 new coaches in the month of September and showing them how to duplicate what I do, scripts will be given, social media training, weekly team calls, and access to getting in the best shape of your life from the inside out.
If you ever wondered if an at home business was right for you my team of amazing coaches would love to share with you more about what a coach does "beyond the workouts".
Coaching from home

There isn't a cookie cutter coach!!  The thing that matters is not your past but what your going to do with your life experiences to better those around you in a positive way.
I'm a small town girl, that started with a small network, zero experience in this type of business, not leading much more than the dog on a walk to a girl when you search clean eating my name comes up, to over 15,000 followers on my like page country girl meets clean eating, and leading a team of amazing woman.
I will be hosting a 3 day closed facebook group starting this coming week to learn more about what a coach does and sharing with you on how to expand your network, how to earn income, the free trips earned, how to get started, how to work full time and coach and from there decide if this would be a good fit for you.

Why entrepreneurs make great beachbody coaches

Why entrepreneurs make great beachbody coaches

Hey There welcome to my blog and to learn more about how this amazing business can be the right fit for you and your family.  First off a little background about myself, I'm a mom of three!!  Ages ranging from 4 to 6 months old living in central PA my entire life.  I married a classmate and just turned 31!!  I live life very free and hate schedules this beachbody business fell into my lap two years ago after having our second child and I had a hard time losing the baby weight.  Since age five I always new God had big plans for my life.  I struggled in school and having low confidence my best was never enough.  Two years ago my husband was working 15 plus hours a day starting up our traditional excavation business.  I missed working outside of the home and really connected with other coaches when I signed up and wanted to share this opportunity with others.

Always having a business mind the things that stood out:
No capital invest
Not a boss but a mentor to others
Not a limit on income made
Work from any location and travel
Unlimited sick days
Work the hours you desire

Sounds dreamy right?  In the past two years I've been blessed to be a part of the top 3% of the company.  It took failing over and over and never giving up, it took stepping out of my comfort zone, it took some late nights, but the rewards are well worth it.

I'm looking to mentor my next set of leaders wanting to build more freedom with their time.  Those that always felt deep down that their life was meant for something bigger then themselves.

I will be opening up a 5 day "behind the barn door" look at what coaching is all about.  Answering questions like
How to expand your network
Do I need to be at my goal weight
How to earn income
What training is provided
How much time does it take
I'm an introvert will I be successful

I would love to get to know more about you and your life goals to be added to this no pressure group fill out the form below.

Review on Insanity Max 30

Review on Insanity Max 30

This is my REAL first week back to working out after having our third child by C-section a little over 6 weeks ago.  I did use the program the 21 day fix until about 36 weeks pregnant however I feel a lot of work still needs done.  I picked Insanity Max 30 jump into for a few reasons.  I truly enjoyed and loved the original Insanity however the 60 minute workouts would not be doable even as a health and fitness coach finding the time to commit would be a stretch.  Max 30 is different than any other Shawn T program he released in the past. Yes he is in your face and pushing you however the entire concept was to create a workout that no matter your fitness level is it would be impossible to not Max out.  WAIT!!  Before I scare you yes it’s a challenge 4 workouts into the program however there is a modifier for the entire program and that is who I’m following for week one and will adjust as my endurance increases.

Day 1!!  I wanted to also get back in the habit of 5:00am workouts so here I am making it happen.  There is no equipment needed for this program it's using your own body for resistance.  Each workout is 30 minutes long with a two minute additional cool down time after the workout.  The program is 8 weeks long with the concept of working out 6 days a week and the 7th day is a rest day.  Here is what the first week of workouts are.  Hands down Tabata power is the most challenging workout it's the gift that keeps on giving.  Yes 30 minute workouts from home can leave you thinking of it hours later when you reach for something above your head.

The time of the workouts goes by very quickly and yes in the program there are water breaks!!  My average time for maxing out week one has been between 6 and 7 minutes.  So what does it mean to Max out?  It simply means you start the workout and each move is either a 30 or 45 second time frame and you move onto the next move.  You go until your body is ready to give up and you give it one more push of 10 more seconds.  Water breaks are around the 10 minute mark but each workout that changes.

With starting a new program it's always great to measure progress by more then just a number on the scale your goal might not be to lose weight it simply might be to just tone up and exercise.  Here are my BEFORE PICTURES.

So beyond waking up early in the morning working out what does this program have to offer for nutrition?  Well it comes with an awesome guide on what foods to be eating to fuel your body as well as some awesome recipes.  Our family has already taking the Cobb salad and made it a regular must have RECIPE.

I can't wait to share what the next few weeks brings!!  And the transformation as it unfolds, I would love to help hold you accountable to your fitness goals and pair you up with a program that is right for you.  Let's talk about what your fitness goals are and if an online accountability group would be a great fit for you.

Potato Stamping

Potato Stamping

Well in the words of my son Clint “mom we need to use the paints more often some are drying out”. Well I kind of agree yes I enjoy being creative but crafty is an entirely different subject.  As I was surfing Pinterest for ideas of how to be crafty this cold Thursday morning, it hit me!! When talking to a lot of moms about making healthy choices with what to eat they just become extremely overwhelmed and don’t know where to start.

Our craft DID NOT turn out like the picture I was going for!!  It wasn’t perfect at all, it’s the same way with making healthier choices in the beginning its ugly, sometimes what we pictured taking place in the first week didn’t happen.  The cool thing just like crafts it’s your master piece and you hold the pen, marker, or potato in this case.
We will be trying this craft in the future I learned in order to have more surface area it would have worked better to cute the potato down the middle, causing it to also look more like an egg shape for Easter.
Live. LEARN. Try. Explore. NEVER give up

Happy Thursday!!

10 misconceptions of being a beachbody coach

10 misconceptions of being a beachbody coach

So I truly wanted to sit down for the past week and share different misconceptions about what beach body coaching is all about and if it would be a good fit for your family. I’ve received a lot of message and e-mails over the past month and thought what better way than to tell a little bit about my story and how becoming a beach bodybody coach had changed my life and my family’s life as well.  I call myself a stay at home mom but truly since age 5 I’ve been an entrepreneur.  I always worked harder then the next person and not matter what I would go the extra mile.  My background before staying home with the kids was a waitress after being home for 2 years I was missing that drive I love the feeling of going after goals in life and never settling.  I think sometimes as a mom we get this feeling that our lives have to be put on hold until the kids go to school.  That is just not true anymore it’s 2014 MOM’S you can have the best of both worlds I’m living prof.  My husband and I own our own excavation business as well as rental properties.

10 misconceptions of being a beachbody coach

Everyone has a story when they decide to sign up as a beachbody coach. I realize mine is a bit different

I’m not the “rags to riches story”

I’m not the desperate housewife wanting to go shopping and on a tight budget without extra funds

I’m not the mom that worked full time and wanted the chance to stay home full time with her kids

But rather I always knew I would do something amazing with my life. I have a business mind and in the past it always comes down to the dollar amount. Beachbody is so not about the big bonuses or get rich quick but rather what grabbed my attention was how many lives I could change. What drives me every day to be better? I totally see the bigger picture and love the flexibility that follows putting others first. By putting others first the income follows from day one I believe I had what it takes to be successful and that mixed together is enough.

I don't know enough people
Yes let’s start with my personal biggest fear!!  I’m an introvert and the thought of talking to complete strangers and telling them about the T25 scares the crap right out of me.  My network of friends consists of very few close friends because if you’re an introvert you totally understand that’s how you like to keep it.  Would you be surprised to know that 95% of the coaches on my team I’ve never met in my life?  If you’re someone that is willing to learn who to use social media I will teach you what took me HOURS to figure out over the past 14 months.
I'm not fit enough to be a coach

Great neither was I when I started I’m just a mom with kids that don’t sleep the entire night and a husband that leaves early in the morning.  With that being said I’m a real person with the same real struggle and have had 2 C-sections but I work consistently everyday to live a healthier life and now pregnant with baby number 3 I really am not at my goal weight however I can still inspire others to live a better life and so can you!!
I don't have enough money to become a coach
Oh I would love to share with you my thoughts on this what other business can you invest 40 bucks (less money than it takes to buy the family pizza) and turn it into a million dollar business.  Most business owners want to see a profit in the first month I will show you how to create an income from home if your teachable.  For the first 3-6 months - you will learn from me and what I do with my business. I will walk you through everything step by step. After a few months of following what I've shown you, your pay could be anywhere between 100$-300$ weekly.  From there, your pay can increase to 500$ - 1000$ per week on average (over $50,000 annually) for the following 6-8 months. You can expect that number will double or even triple every year if you are consistent with your commitment towards the business.
I don't have the time to make coaching successful

YEP short on time heck yeah same here, I work our traditional business and it consumes about 15 to 20 hours a week doing all the behind the sense “stuff”. Everything from ordering job materials, returns, checking prices, sending out invoices, paying bills, balancing the check book, payroll, new employee paperwork, payroll taxes, quarterly taxes, phone calls, the list goes on. My husband is out of the house most days for 12+ hours, I have two little one’s that keep me hooping I manage the house, and find time to put dinner on the table.  HOWEVER I carve out time consistently every day for my beach body business first thing in the morning while my kids are either just waking up or still sleeping and do so after they go to bed.  I will teach you what you need to do in an hour each day to be successful.  There is not a quota that needs to be met each month and the crazy thing about being your own CEO you get to decide how much time you spend on growing your business because its your business.
I am not a healthy and fitness expert

It’s awesome if you are but what I’ve found is the more natural a person is others can relate beside that’s what they are buying the workouts like T25 and Insanity for the customer is receiving an export in their own home plus shakeology gives the customer one meal a day with a dense dose of nutrition our job as coaches is for accountability hence the reason for running challenge groups to support those wanting to live a better life.
I am not a sales person and don't care to be the "crazy person" others hide from at Target
Oh I know what you mean!!  What I found is just by sharing my story and being real with people on social media others relate and naturally what to be a part of what I’m doing.  I set out every morning to add value to others lives not just “sell a challenge pack”.  Beside I have an amazing opportunity that can truly change some one’s life for the better.  With my focus being set that way I never feel odd posting about a challenge group or the opportunity to make a business from beach body because it has truly changed my life and I know it has the chance to change others as well.
There are too many coaches out there it's too late for me

Really???? No this cannot even be something that holds you back with obesity on the rise people need this with more and more families living pay check to pay check there are plenty of others that could benefit from the choice you make to today “why not me”.  I really think it’s like the last man standing well ok the coach that just keeps going no matter what life throws your way you just keep staying consistent and 6 months from now you will realize being consistent it what makes you successful.

I don't like to work out from home, I prefer the gym
Ok so I came across this every now and then.  To be honest, I know quite a few Beachbody coaches who do in fact go to the gym.  What they do is use Beachbody fitness programs as a supplemental at-home program.  Believe it or not, coaching is not all about exercising.  It's about living a healthy life which includes eating healthy too!  You don't get that at a gym.  So, you don't have to give up your gym fetish to be a coach.  You can still use the products, be a product of the product, eat healthy, AND go to the gym!

Beachbody coaching is a pyramid scheme

I love MLM businesses because  everyone starts out the same.  And how much you success is a direct reflection of how many people you help.  How many of you have a traditional job and the only way to increase your income is by getting a raise, your boss getting promoted, or someone above you changing jobs?  That sounds like a pyramid to me just saying plus pyramid scheme are eligible and I’m pretty sure if beachbody was doing something illegal they would not advertise it all over the TV and internet.

I have no business experience

Honestly some of you might look at me and think she is successful because she owns other businesses but honestly the skills that made me successful as a waitress carry over into my beachbody business.  Treat others the way you would want to be treated, offer awesome customer service, keep the line of communication open, knowing how to work with different personalities, and teacher others how to do what you do.
