Hey there!! Welcome to my blog and I can't wait to share with you the details on Hammer and Chisel. I personally started my fitness journey 2.5 years ago with a strength training program and the difference I saw mentally and physically was amazing. As a mom at that time with two little one, not enough sleep in a day, I finally realized in order to give the best to my kids carving out time for fitness and good nutrition every day was a turning point.
About the trainers!!
Co-creators Sagi Kalev and Autumn Calabrese are experts when it comes to incredible physical transformations. Sagi has been crowned Mr. Israel— twice—and is a Master Professional Personal Trainer, IFBB Pro, member of the IFBB Propta Hall of Fame, Certified Nutrition Specialist, and Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist. Autumn Calabrese is a celebrity trainer, best-selling author, and working mom who has held certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA), and has competed at the national level in various bikini competitions.

Is this just another workout that will sit on the shelf?

Hey there! Welcome to my blog I look forward to sharing inspiring transformations with the 3 day refresh. First off what is the 3 day refresh? After a weekend the thought of what went wrong its nice to know there is something out there that is easy to follow to cut the bad habits and help with getting back on track. The 3 DAY REFRESH IS A DRAMATIC CHANGE THAT WILL HELP CLEANSE YOUR BODY AND IMPROVE THE WAY YOU FEEL WITHOUT STARVING YOURSELF.
If you've ever done a juice fast or an all-liquid cleanse that's high in sugars and low in protein, you may have found that you felt weak and sluggish. And any weight loss came right back. That's because liquid fasts can tax your organs, and mess with your metabolism.

Excited here today!!! I know that we should not always be checking the scale. But I needed to be sure my 4 pounds loss from the refresh stayed lost. WELL - TODAY showed another pound gone after using the 21 day fix containers yesterday. Down 5 pounds in 4 days.

A trip to remember
A trip to remember
It’s hard to believe the week went by this fast!! Last week at this time I was spending the
week for the first time in Nashville for an annual coach summit. I packed my bags as my sister and I headed to
Nashville with (5 month old Henry my son) to attend training and live workouts
with some of the top trainers in the biz like Shawn T and Chalene Johnson.
It’s crazy to think how you think your life
is going to go one way and God tugs on your heart and gives a bit of a different
direction. I’m an introvert so to be
surrounded by 25,000 coaches in the network 2 years ago would of freaked me
right out. However this time was spend meeting those that you communicate daily
with in person. You see these coaches
end up becoming some of your best friends.
It's crazy to think how much my team has grown in a year!! Last year I headed to Vegas all by myself to spread my wings and really came back home with my head down and ready to work. The same thing happened again I came back with more life moments of things just clicking and truly seeing this company as just getting started.
Last year we close down the strip in Vegas while 10,000 coaches workout with all the top trainers in the business.
This year Nashville has been taken over by 25,000 coaches early in the morning to catch a live workout with Sean T.
I'm a numbers girls
Do you see a pattern in growth?
As someone that is very familiar with investing into a traditional business stepping a little bit out of the box I w...anted to invest my time into a company I knew was going somewhere.
If you look at the the past 6 years beachbody is not the number one MLM business. And I'm totally ok with that I would rather invest where there is stability in steady growth. Each year sales continue to increase at a great rate. Keep in mind "overnight" growth comes over "overnight" pitfalls.
Projected to end the year with over 400,000 coaches to keep it simple that's a lot of lives being changed physically and financially changed. This is just in the United States and Canada at this point in time and generating over 750 million this year in sales.
With tools being released this coming year like an app, new workouts, nutrition that is more specific to your needs that will boost your shakeology, there isn't a limit on where things will go.

Next we amazing training from other top coaches in the network. We also had the opportunity to listen to some pretty incredible speakers during the general session trainings. Simon Sinek, author and inspirational leader spoke to us the first day as well as Chalene Johnson. Both had amazing experiences and tips on leadership and relationships. On the second day National Geographic Photographer Dewitt Jones spoke and boy was his presentation AMAZING. I think if you ask my husband if it was helpful he would say yes!! Chalene Johnson told everyone to go home and give your spouse attention you know using most men's love language.
It was amazing to come back home and jump on a zoom call with my team and share everything that we learned. The entire time was a great time to spend with my personally sponsored coach/sister as well. Yesterday in beachbody body land its payday
A fresh week to help more people to live a healthier life as well as financially. At the beginning of this year we both spent some time putting together goals for the year it's been such a blessing for Jeanette's family to have beachbody become a part of the household income. Jeanette leads with such passion in many areas of her life and today she shared her income is more then enough to c...over their mortgage.
It's so much more then what you see at the surface and can truly change the course of your life.
I always say this it's heart and hussle
God always provides and sometimes takes you in a different direction then what you pictured.
Trust me we are two sisters that DO NOT have it all together but willing to share this opportunity with anyone

On the move
On the move
Hey there!! I know for some of you, you follow me for motivation and recipes and I LOVE doing that. However there is an entire opportunity that comes with being able to share my story with others. A little background about myself I was a waitress all through high school until age 27 when my husband and I made the choice I would stay home with our first born. I loved working and liked the fact that when I was waitressing I was serving others and creating an income. I hated building someone else dreams and hated working weekends but enjoy other angles of what a waitress does. It might sound really crazy from the outside looking in but that is pretty much what I do as a beachbody coach. I serve others, offer a service, train others to do the same, but here is the really cool thing from my kitchen table I'm making an impact. It truly causes me to jump out of bed knowing the choice I made 22 months ago to step out of my comfort zone would make such an impact. You see my entire life I struggle with self worth and always trying to be the best I could be. As a coach because of being willing to put myself out there I'm inspiring others and their lives are impacted in a positive way. Just this week a coach on my team went to a regular doctor check up and was able to come off of medication for high blood pressure. She is someone that has been through a challenge group has an amazing transformation underway and is inspiring others to do the same.
A few other REALLY cool things about coaching when you put others first and wake up with a mindset of making a difference your income follows. You will hardly hear me talk about income but what I do while my kids sleep and watch an afternoon show replaces the income of working as a waitress.
I set my own pace!! It's not like working for someone and I do the same thing with my coaches if they want to run with the business I'm there giving the tools needed to reach their goals. If they truly just want a savings on shakeology that cool too (Who doesn't like a savings). If your someone that just wants to help a few friends and family that's cool too and I will be able to guide you in that direction.
I don't have an "office" that I report into!! That's the cool thing about a mobile office. In the past month I've been able to continue to grow my business while packing up, moving, and getting a house and barn ready that has been empty for 8 years. Yes I do plan my time very carefully but in this very short life I'm willing to do the things others will pass on to have more freedom 5 years from now. Yes I made a quick training video while painting the new place!!
This is a business you can work from your phone from anywhere!!

21 Day Fix Fruit Salsa
21 Day Fix Fruit Salsa
In a small dish place one of your teaspoons of raw sugar and sprinkle some cinnamon in until you get a nice even mixture of cinnamon to sugar. Place bowl to the side.
Take the tortilla shell and put it on a cutting board. Brush some of the coconut oil onto the tortilla shell until it has a slight coating over the whole shell. Then sprinkle the cinnamon/sugar mixture over the tortilla shell.
Cut the tortilla into small triangles (chips), and then transfer the chips over to a non-stick baking sheet.
Place in the oven for 6 to 8 minutes.
While the chips are baking take your partially thawed strawberries and blend them and also dice up your apple into small pieces. Put the diced apples and blended strawberries into a small bowl. Sprinkle over your last teaspoon of sugar and mix. Put the bowl to the side
Once the chips are done, let them cool and then enjoy!
This counts as-Serves 1
1 yellow, 1 purple, 1 tsp (oils), and 2 tsps.

Hey There!! I love Thursday's in our kids language it's a "stay home day". Pretty much it means I don't have to work outside of the home and we pretty much leave the day open to do whatever they would like to do. I also like to keep things fresh and after two years of eating clean I enjoy making one new recipe a week. Bingo we found it!! Not only is it 21 day fix approved but the kids loved it as well. I'm currently in the middle of doing a hybrid schedule of working out using Insanity Max 30 and ChaLean Extreme, ChaLean Extreme is designed to strength train three days a week and let's just say on those days my metabolism goes crazy and I like to keep extra water on hand as well as enjoying a treat like this. Even though I love the 21 day fix workouts after being pregnant and doing it for the entire 9 months I was ready to change the workouts but still follow the 21 day fix nutrition guide.
Ingredients
1 6inch whole wheat tortilla shell
1/2 small gala apple
1/2 purple container of frozen strawberries (partially thawed)
1 tsp of coconut oil
2 tsps of raw sugar
Cinnamon to taste
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

While the chips are baking take your partially thawed strawberries and blend them and also dice up your apple into small pieces. Put the diced apples and blended strawberries into a small bowl. Sprinkle over your last teaspoon of sugar and mix. Put the bowl to the side
Once the chips are done, let them cool and then enjoy!

Could coaching work for your life?
I went back and forth about whether to share this or not but the bottom line is if I don’t share it others will never know about this opportunity. This past week I was able to transfer $1,000.00 into our house savings fund. It was kind of a cool feeling for many reasons beyond just a dollar amount. A little bit about myself I’m an introvert and feared being successful as a coach but 20 months ago I knew that I would rather say I tried than to say I never did. It all started with truly wanting to have more energy with two little ones at home I was not at my goal weight when I started coaching, I had about 100 friends on Facebook and used social media just to stock others lives like most do. I had NO idea how to create a blog or like page. But what I did know after two years of not working I missed that sense of creating income. Yes my husband and I own our own traditional excavating business and I’m involved with that but I wanted something to call my own. Over the past 20 months I would say I nailed down time management we added our third baby to the family Henry and I went from working 2 days a week for our traditional business to 4 days a week. And to be honest the successful coaches on my team are very involved and limited on time as well. We have a great system to share with others on how to be successful on a power hour a day. What did I give up over the past 20 months to be successful? Well a little sleep, the only TV show I watch in a weeks time frame is a show called Shark Tank, working while holding a baby, however these short term sacrifices have been well worth it.

The hardest part about coaching 20 months in?
Having others see the value in what we do as coaches,
Beachbody coaching is not a get rich quick scheme however the power of sticking
with it past a few months is pretty cool.
The first month I started I made $60.00 dollars most would of gave up
and said this is a waste of time I’m blessed to have a “hard working mentally”. I made my mind up I was going for the long
haul and it paid off.
“I don’t want to sell anything”
Me too!! I never
wanted to be that crazy lady people dodged at the store. Coaching is so much more than a bag of
powered and a workout DVD it’s the connections you make with people within
challenge groups. We don’t leave others out
to hang and figure it out. Just like
challenge groups I offer what is called coach basics that is a 30 day online group to
learn the basics of coaching and from that group you get to decide if it’s a good
fit for you or not. There is no crazy
contract, inventory to stock, and home parties to host. I giggle because home parties just would not
work I work my business while the kids sleep and having to find a sitter and be
away from the home would not be a good fit.
Thank goodness for the power of social media.
Free trips
Yes it’s cool to make a great income and see other coaches
on our team be able to not have to work outside the home but there is
more. This past April I was given a free
trip to Cancun jut for helping an average of 3 new people a month in 2014. The really cool thing about signing up as a
coach now is the chance to be on a FREE cruise in the beginning for 2015 but we
would want to get started now. These are
just added bonuses above income.
Getting paid to get in shape
Well did you ever think if I was to earn income while
getting in shape that would be the ultimate motivator. It is!!
I mean part of what a coach does is works out and shares their personal
struggles. There is no need to be where
you want to be we are all a work in progress and each day is the chance to

What can it bring?
Freedom with time it hit me yesterday with a Sunday Saturday
spending the entire day with the family and not having to worry about heading
to work on a Sunny day that this is truly a dream job. I’m present for my kids able to work our traditional
business but still able to have my own thing and create income from home at my
kitchen table without any money invested other than what I was already doing to
reach my own fitness goals. The ability
to surround yourself with likeminded people that have your best interest. There is not an income cap I think as a hard
worker that is always something I struggled with someone putting a value on
what my time was worth each hour.
Getting to call the shots is pretty cool. The ability to have someone say you saved
their life and brought them out of a really dark place in their life.

Insanity Max 30 Transformation
Where did the last 30 days go!! I can’t believe yesterday I started month two of Max 30. This program is 60 days long and broke down into two months. Let’s just say the last 30 days of life have been a whirl win I tend to live with blinders on and stay very focused on goals in life. The last 30 days my focus has been on a push goal that Steve and I have had for a very long time. With that being said in the last 30 days we hit Easter and yes I’m a health coach and yes I help others however the struggle is real do I eat the chocolate covered bunny or pass? Well a few bunnies might of won. In the last 30 days I was not only getting back in a routine but doing so as a mom of three with a nursing baby those 5:00am workouts where not easy. You know when your losing weight and getting in shape there comes that point to press on or stop well I felt that moment last week as well I kind of felt like I needed to be seeing faster results what worked in the past might just not work this time. This sense of doubt started to creep in…..I made a choice to stop that craziness right then and there. I jumped on the computer and checked out my transformation from when I had Josie and looked at my progress 30 days in and in that moment decided to be in it for the long haul.
So what now? Well it's called a journey for a reason I keep going!! Beyond what the pictures tell I've been sleeping better at night, I have more energy, my skin looks great, green beans and almonds are my go to snack while being a busy mom. I fuel up every morning with shakeology to keep my nutrition on point one meal a day I don't have to think about. I feel soooo much stronger then I did on day one. I want you to feel the same way, I'm not inviting you to a quick fix more then likely you have tried every gimmick on the market. I'm just like you a mom that wants to look good and feel confident in my own skin. way to lose weight and inches that doesn’t include exercising and eating
healthy and I call crap. Come on now folks
if that was the case we wouldn’t be a country in need of better health.
Last week I even pulled the “I’m too busy” card to my
husband!! When I had Josie I wasn’t
working outside of the home 4 days a week for our traditional business, two
kids vs three, the list goes on. Yet
again I decided to not give up we are all given the same 24 hours in a day and
it’s a choice every day on how we spend those minutes. I decided to stop giving excuses and to push
on I CAN find 30 minutes a day to prep healthy foods for the entire family I
CAN workout and shut my brain off from the noise of life and FOCUS on working out
for 30 minutes. You see the shift in
thinking? I truly believe weight loss
starts with the mind. The mind is
powerful and it’s either working for you or against you. I choose today to say I CAN!! And you CAN TOO!!
So
when I snapped my 30 day photos only seeing the scale go down a few lbs. I was
so thankful for taking before pictures!!
The pictures tell the entire story it says JOB WELL DONE!! Here is where I started the mural of the story is throw the scale out the window take before pictures and measurements. So what now? Well it's called a journey for a reason I keep going!! Reese Cup Shakeology
Reese Cup Shakeology
I get asked this all the time isn’t shakeology just a protein shake? No not at all most of us are not protein deficient however most are lacking nutrition I can eat healthy all day long and still not receive the nutrition needed. Its whole foods broke down and by that I mean YES you do pay for what you get You can hit up the local GNC for a “shake meal replacement” However always check out the ingredients Things to look for:
Artificial flavoring
Artificial Sweeteners
Soy
What does shakeology taste like? Well since it is all natural and sweeten by a plant for most the first week it taste kind of different because our taste buds have been use to consuming something that has been altered in the flavoring department. Is shakeology really worth the 3 buck and some change I pay every day? Well it depends I personally like to be proactive vs reactive Yes at age 30 my health can kind of float by however just like anything it catches up We all invest money in different items every day in life For me I would rather hold off on buying a cup of coffee each day or that cute new toy for the kids that will be destroyed a few months from now. I never miss a day 2 years later most days it's my meal right after working out I look at drinking it everyday as my treat for sweating!!
Do I drink Reese Cup Cheesecake everyday like this recipe? No however on a Sunday night when everyone else in the house is eating DQ I get a little crazy by adding a Reese Cup to my shakeology.

Reese Cup Cheesecake
1 tbsp. all natural peanut butter or almond butter
1 scoop chocolate shakeology
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)
Ice and blend for 45 to 50 seconds
Next drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside rim of your glass, fill glass with blended shakeology, top with whip cream if you desire, and sprinkle one chopped up Reese cup on top.

Beachbody's Newest Program- Cize
Well the news was released today!! Shawn T has blessed us with so many amazing programs in the past such as T25, Insanity, Insanity Max 30, Hip Hop Abs and the list goes on. Well it's time to turn up the DANCE music a bit of a different approach from Max 30 or Insanity It's fun and upbeat. This program will be designed for everyone that has a hard time staying focused while working out, enjoys programs like Zumba, has been doing the same workout for some time and needs a change, and those short on time.
I personally enjoy and have seen some of the most amazing transformations from challengers doing his programs. My job as a coach is to help others that purchase programs like this one and help them to stay motivated from start to finish. I had the most amazing results from doing Insanity the fall of 2013 since than we had our 3rd child and currently just getting back into a routine and my second transformation using Insanity Mas 30 (the workouts are 30 minutes long) and loving it!!
What is Cize?
I’m glad you asked! It is a 4 week program that gives you a great cardio workout without feeling like you’re working out! During this time frame, Shaun T will give you step-by-step choreography in a fun, easy to follow dance program from your living room. In each routine, Shaun breaks down challenging moves step-by-step, and builds them into a full dance sequence in just 35-40 minutes. So, while you are mastering the dance moves, you'll also be burning fat and calories.
